What if I can’t find the puppy breed I am looking for?

Oftentimes dogs have multiple names for the same breed. For example, Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are also known as Caucasian Mountain Dogs, Russian Bear Dogs, Baskhan (Karachay) Pariy, Caucasian Ovcharka Dogs, or just CO; there are many variants and types. We have tried to use the most common name which would include subcategories. If you need help finding a breed near you, please contact us at info@studlydog.com.

Can I save my search or be notified when new puppies are available?

Use the heart icon to save puppies and breeds you are interested in to your My Favorites page.

How do I meet a puppy I found on StudlyDog?

We recommend you see the puppies in person. Whether traveling to the breeder/kennel or having a Zoom/FaceTime meeting. It is very important, and easy, to have live interaction with the puppy and breeder/seller. Be patient and diligent in your search for your new fur-baby.

Does StudlyDog guarantee the health of the puppies listed?

StudlyDog is not a Vet or Pet Hospital. Vet check paperwork is recommended with the sale of all puppies and should be current within 10 days of purchase. Communicate your requests clearly with the seller and get it in writing. Items included are clearly communicated on the listing. If a Vet check is not listed, request one from the seller.

Is there a fee to purchase a puppy on StudlyDog.com?

There are no fees, surcharges or upcharges to purchase a puppy from a breeder on StudlyDog. The purchase agreement is made directly with the breeder/seller/kennel. Be sure to facilitate a contract with the seller for all semen, stud service and puppy purchases.

Are payments for puppies, stud services, or semen made through StudlyDog?

StudlyDog does not agree with being a middleman for financial transactions. This only complicates things. Payments are agreed upon and made directly between the seller/buyer. We encourage you to pay via Credit Card/PayPal or similar means of payment to mitigate any potential issues.

Can I save my search or be notified when new studs are available?

Use the heart icon to save studs and breeds you are interested in to your My Favorites page. Check back often as new stud dogs are added daily.

Does StudlyDog pre-screen and verify its breeders?

StudlyDog immediately verifies the breeders/sellers once a profile and listing is submitted. Many layers of authenticity are required to post as a breeder on StudlyDog. Accounts that are suspected to be subpar, scammers, and non-reputable are flagged and removed immediately. If you suspect suspicious accounts, please notify us at info@studlydog.com.

How can I tell if a seller is a scam?

Many red flags will become obvious to non-reputable sellers. One of the most obvious is not agreeing to a live visit with the puppy preferably in person, or via facetime/zoom or other electronic means.

How do I make a complaint about a breeder/seller?

Send any and all complaints to info@studlydog.com. Our team will complete an investigation within the StudlyDog platform and assist you with additional actions with local officials to investigate the breeder/seller further if necessary. We will go the extra mile.

How can I leave a review for a breeder?

Reviews are submitted by the buyer and posted to the Breeder’s profile. Logged in users will be able to view them under the Reviews tab. This is initiated after the transaction is final. Breeders can also comment on any posted review for additional information.

VERIFIED BREEDERS

How does the application process work in order to list stud dogs and puppies?

We have simplified the application process to minimize the waiting period for breeders and sellers.  Profiles and Listings for puppies and studs will be visible immediately on the StudlyDog platform. While at the same time, the StudlyDog team verifies the legitimacy of the Breeder profile without delay or interruption.

If I have been approved in the past with an old listing, do I need to reapply to post a listing?

As long as your paid membership plan is current, you do not need to re-apply. Simply login to access your existing Account and create a new listing.

How soon and how long will my posting be available to buyers?

Your Listing will be IMMEDIATELY visible. The listings will be available as long as you have a current paid membership plan. You may manage your from your My Account page.

I’m a verified breeder. Can I post a response to a review?

Reviews are posted to your account by customers you have sold to. All reviews: the good, bad, and ugly will be posted without bias. Reviews will be visible to all customers shopping your profile. Breeders can also post a visible response to any and all reviews.

Is my email and personal information safe?

Your email and personal information is safe. We do not sell or share your contact information, including your email address. Financial information is processed via Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

How do I update my email and other personal information?

We use email as the identifier on the website, so you will not be able to change your email as all listings, communications, and profile data are connected to the email used to sign up.

How do I upgrade my StudlyDog Membership Plan?

Login to your account and click on the Membership Plan link. On the next screen, click on your current StudyDog Subscription. Here you will be able to upgrade to a new plan. Alternatively, you can choose a new plan on the Membership Plan page.
